Illustrative, fictional scenario. This is a proposed approach to a sample brief. It is not a completed client project and contains no claimed results. See Our Work for live website examples.
The situation
A dealer lists cars across several marketplaces. Buyers arrive with a make, model, fuel type, price range or monthly budget in mind, but the business website has only a gallery and a generic enquiry form.
The website problem
The site must help visitors narrow stock quickly, see accurate vehicle facts and contact the dealer about a specific car. Sold vehicles and changing availability need a consistent content policy.
How we would approach it
- Agree which inventory fields can be kept reliably current: make, model, year, mileage, fuel, transmission, price, condition and stock reference.
- Build useful category and vehicle detail templates with clear photos, specification, availability and calls to action.
- Link every vehicle enquiry to its stock reference so the sales team knows the subject of the request.
- Decide when sold listings remain useful with alternatives, and when a removal or relevant redirect is appropriate.
- Check the mobile browsing and enquiry path on a real phone before publication.
Suggested deliverables
- Stock taxonomy and listing templates
- Vehicle detail and enquiry design
- Availability and sold listing policy
- Technical SEO and mobile launch checks
What we would measure
Track vehicle-specific enquiries and calls alongside Search Console landing pages and stock availability. A hypothetical design cannot substantiate sales uplift.
