Illustrative, fictional scenario. This is a proposed approach to a sample brief. It is not a completed client project and contains no claimed results. See Our Work for live website examples.
The situation
The dealer has product PDFs, photographs and model numbers but no consistent online catalogue. Customers email screenshots or call to ask whether a particular machine is still available.
The website problem
A buyer needs a stable route from equipment type to a specific machine, enough technical detail to shortlist it and an enquiry that identifies the exact stock item.
How we would approach it
- Define stable equipment categories and the specifications that matter within each category.
- Give each machine a unique reference, availability state, useful description and any approved datasheets.
- Link category pages to relevant stock, and show alternatives where suitable when a machine sells.
- Add a structured product enquiry carrying the stock reference to the sales team.
- Map old URLs and test navigation, mobile layouts and indexability before launch.
Suggested deliverables
- Category and stock page architecture
- Specification and availability fields
- Stock-specific enquiry path
- Launch checklist and URL mapping
What we would measure
Measure qualified stock enquiries and the pages that led to them, while recording inventory changes. No traffic or revenue result is claimed.
